Seven-year-old Kalyna Kuzyk was only two when her Mumma was diagnosed with breast cancer. Although she doesn't remember too much about that time, Kalyna understands how breast cancer has affected her Mumma's life. Proving that little people can do great things, Miss Kuzyk decided to paint one of her magical birds on wood and donate it to Mardi-Bras to help raise money to end breast cancer. In her spare time Miss Kuzyk loves to read novels, write stories, paint unique, colourful birds, "do" art, and trains six hours a week in competitive gymnastics. Kalyna hopes her bird entitled Marcellus, the Slicker Chicken raises "at least $40, if that's not too much" at Mardi-Bras. Let's not disappoint this budding philanthropist!
