We've had a number of questions regarding the call for formal dress for the evening.
We chose "formal" because it's fun and it lends an air of elegance to the party.
We are certainly not going to turn anyone away for being under or over dressed. What is most important here, is to keep in mind that Mardi Bras is all about doing something aggressive to fight cancer! It helps that we're having enormous fun while doing it, but wear whatever you feel you can best fight the good fight in! Nobody is expecting you to go rent a tux or buy a new ball gown, by all means, do it if you're feeling snazzy. Heck, come in your Bat-Man costume if you like, just so long as you show up! (I bet Bat-Man would fight cancer if he wasn't already busy fighting crime.)
Remember, the important thing is that you come to the party, help us raise the bucks they need for Princess Margaret Hospital, and have enormous fun!

The Weekend To End Breast Cancer is a two-day 60k walk through the streets of Toronto. All proceeds support Princess Margaret Hospital and the Campbell Family Institute, funding research, support services and an eventual cure to this heartbreaking disease.
Princess Margaret Hospital is one of the top five cancer centres in the world. They treat more than 200 types of cancer and are a world leader in cancer stem cell research, image-guided therapeutics, patient survivorship, breast cancer research and treatment.
In 2007 Mammy Gram’s Girls raised $8,323.55 of a record breaking 17.3 million dollars! In 2008 we raised $8,281.40 of 13 million dollars and we're back to set a new record in 2009!
With your continued generosity and support, we will see a cure in our lifetime.
